Deleting long Cingular voicemail
Raise your hand if this has ever happened to you...
There's one unheard voicemail on your phone. But the caller got creative and left you a 2 minute long ramble instead of a 10 second "hey, call me back" message. You wait and wait, and it seems like an eternity before you hear "Press 7 to delete this message". Is there a way to delete the message without listening to all of it?
YES THERE IS! Simply press 7 twice (ie 77) anytime during the message, and it will be deleted. Apparently, not even the Cingular customer service folks know about this one cos I've called up to ask them before.
By the way, read this too...

If you happen to have Verizon, you press 33 instead. Took me quite a while to figure that one out, but thank GOd I did... who wants all that extra airtime listening to a long-winded message you already heard just so you can delete it???
